I have always enjoyed taking and looking at photograph's, ever since I was a small boy when my father would do a lot of film photography on a Fujica ST705 and in days gone by would develop his own negatives and prints.
I started pursuing my love for photography properly in 2005 when I acquired a Canon Powershot G50, a camera I would consider a high end compact of that time. In 2007 I made the move up to a Canon 400D, my first semi-pro SLR camera and at the start of 2011 I acquired a Canon 7D, a pro SLR camera with a multitude of functions. I also inherited the Fujica film camera in 2010 and I have been having a lot of fun experimenting with film photo practice's.
I mostly photograph at motor racing events for which I have a separate website www.behindthecatchfence.com and also enjoy capturing people, animals and travel memories which is what is being showcased here.
